The nave

The nave with four bays and aisles is Gothic style. They date back to Abbot Hugh of Glavin death in 1250. Ribbed vaults were originally planned across, but the nave preferred to adopt the architect of the cradles broken, leaving the unused columns which were to receive the springing of the ribs. The nave evokes and the Romanesque period. In the seventeenth century a direct illumination of the nave is done by piercing the arches of windows.
