Cathedral of Amiens has been listed 1981 at the UNESCO World Heritage. With its 145m length, a height of 112m spire and vault under 42m, an internal volume of 200 000m3, is one of the tallest and largest buildings ever higher. It is the largest church in France. With the cathedrals of Chartres and Reims, it is considered the archetype of the classic Gothic style.

The centerpiece of the pavement of the cathedral is an octagonal maze located at the fifth bay of the nave. Its length is 234 meters.
